EDUCATION
1988-1992
Master of Theology (Th.M.)
cum laude
DALLAS THEOLOLOGICAL SEMINARY
DALLAS, TEXAS
This is a full-time four-year degree that required rigorous study in Greek, Hebrew, Systematic Theology, and Pastoral Ministry. I graduated with honors and focused my study on Christian Education and Pastoral Ministry.
1983-1985
Bachelor of Arts in Education (B.A.Ed.)
EASTERN WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY
CHENEY, WASHINGTON
I received my Bachelor's Degree in Education, earning at the same time a Professional Teaching Certificate for Secondary Education. My focus was on the social sciences, especially history. I found I had a knack for teaching and have found over the years that my education background has been invaluable in teaching/training in ministry contexts.
1981-1983
Associate of Arts (A.A.)
SPOKANE FALLS COMMUNITY COLLEGE
SPOKANE, WASHINGTON
In the midst of a major recession, I chose to work my way through college, starting with getting my general ed requirements done at the local community college. Nine years later, I was able to graduate with a Th. M. still debt free, for which I am grateful.
