Pastor Chris Calvert has a true heart for our Lord Jesus Christ. During the time in which our pastor received another calling, Chris stepped in to help keep the congregation organized and focused on God. This was a particularly difficult time due to the corona virus pandemic and the “lock-down” order given by the governor. To continue Sunday Services for our church, Chris coordinated Zoom services and presented encouraging messages. He humbly took on a leadership position by guiding the Church’s Leadership Board and Deacons to take on the roles of shepherding the congregation. He demonstrated the ability to help others see their ministry capabilities and encouraged them to step out of their comfort zones and reach out to others. The Board members and Deacons all agreed that Chris demonstrated much wisdom and compassion in managing our church. He gave selflessly of his time and himself in a Christ like manner.”"Chris Calvert is a humble, wise, and gifted pastor. He has a shepherd‘s heart and knows many in his congregation on a personal level. He makes himself available to others and counsels wisely with humility and grace."

"Chris is one of those rare guys that is great at most things that he strives for, especially in implementation, facilitating change, looking ahead, and putting together teams that achieve. Having worked under his pastoral leadership, I can say that he has a genuine caring heart for those he leads, as well as the flock entrusted to him. Chris understands how to bring about spiritual growth and transformation throughout God's church, making him invaluable. He has been a pleasure to work with."
RICHARD PARR / DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY LIFE / THE BRIDGE CHURCH
"I thoroughly enjoyed working for Chris for over 3 and 1/2 years. I have never worked for a supervisor who cared so much about his employees' personal lives and individual growth. He opened countless meetings by talking about what was going on in everyone's lives instead of just talking strictly business. I always left his office feeling encouraged about life and my role as his administrative assistant. His heart for people is evident everywhere he goes, and I am a better friend, daughter, employee, and Christ-follower because of his influence."
JENNA SCHAPANSKY / FAMILY LIFE ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT / THE BRIDGE CHURCH
